Garvey|Simon is pleased to announce our participation in the Art on Paper Fair, Pier 36, September 9 – 12, 2021. Ranging from street photography to abstract pastels to highly-detailed hyperrealist drawings, each of our artists approaches the natural world with an attention to its emotional palette and spirit of spontaneity. Whether capturing the minute splendor of an Iris petal or incorporating found materials from the environment, the artists included in this year’s showing use paper to ground the organic quality of their work. Garvey|Simon’s booth will feature selections from Dozier Bell, Dina Brodsky, Daisy Craddock, Margot Glass, Jeanne Heifetz, Lisa Lebofsky, David Morrison, Melanie Parke, Mary Reilly, and Kit Warren. The fair will be open from September 10 – 12, 2021 with a VIP preview on Thursday, September 9. Garvey|Simon will be located at booth C-25.
Art on Paper returns to downtown Manhattan's Pier 36 in September 2021 with 100 galleries featuring top modern and contemporary paper-based art. Art on Paper's seventh edition will continue the fair's historical alignment with New York City's Arts week and The Armory Show. Art on Paper's medium-driven focus continues to bring about unique and powerful projects - visual, experiential moments that have set the fair apart and established Art on Paper as an important destination for the arts in New York City.
